Do-ing Music is a collaborative venture with the Northport/East Northport Public Library. Classical music is presented three Friday evenings a year at the Northport Public Library, 151 Laurel Avenue, Northport, N.Y. at 7:30pm. Admission is free. Refreshments compliments of Copenhagen Bakery and meet the artists reception afterwards.

January 25: Francisco Roldan
Virtuoso guitarist Francisco Roldán will present a diverse, rhythmic and melodious program with music from Spain, Germany, Puerto Rico, Paraguay and Italy, including selections from the sublime works of Bach, to great Spanish music first championed by Andrés Segovia, to the elegant Giuliani and to the gorgeous Latin flavors of Barrios. Performance will include a special guest appearance.
April 5: Cross Island
CROSS ISLAND - the duo of cellist Suzanne Mueller and pianist Elinor Abrams Zayas, is joined in concert by clarinetist Josh Redman, presenting a program seamlessly blending beloved classics and delightful discoveries spanning centuries and styles. Composers will include Richard Rodney Bennett, Leonard Bernstein, James Grant, Cecile Chaminade, Cheryl Edelman, Gerald Finzi, George Gershwin, Antonio Carlos Jobim, Arkadie Kouguell, Mark McCarron, Cole Porter, and Robert Schumann.
October 4: Canta Libre Chamber Ensemble
Join the acclaimed Canta Libre Chamber Ensemble as they feature exciting new works for harp, flute and strings by Vivaldi, Schulhoff, Vaughn Williams and more. Post concert reception to follow.
