Philip Sparacino is a Clinical Practitioner in Drama Therapy.  He works with an adult, psychiatric population in an outpatient setting. His poetry has been published in magazines across the U.S. and his upcoming work will be appearing in Goodfoot, The Underwood Review, City Works and Voices in Italian Americana.

This October 8th concert, in which Mr. Sparacino will collaborate with classical pianist Isabella Eredita Johnson at the Northport Public Library, continues Mr. Sparacino's practice of combining music and poetry.  On July 25th, he collaborated with string bassist Karen Gellert at the Elaine Stein Gallery, also in Northport.  On November 21st he will appear with trombonist Joe Schaefer at the Conklin Barn in Huntington.

Isabella Eredita grew up in Northport and began her music studies with Gladys Fanton. She received both her  Bachelor's and Master's Degrees from the Manhattan School of Music. Ms. Eredita is on the faculty of Five Towns College and teaches piano privately. She is an active advocate for the arts on Long Island, serving as chairman of the Northport Arts Coalition. Among her proudest accomplishments are the presentations of the Diabelli Variations and the Goldberg Variations. Each of these two concerts involved the gathering of over thirty fine pianists, each performing a single variation.
