NAC WEDNESDAYs

Daniel Thomas Moran, Suffolk County’s Poet Laureate read some of his truly delightful poems to us at our NAC WEDNESDAY on Tuesday November 22nd at the Northport Library.  The audience was genuinely moved by his poetry, confirming to us the pure power of poetry.

For several years, Jeff Bennett served as Board Member of the Northport Arts Coalition, and thus was born the tradition of the NAC's December Second-Wednesday being given over to Bare Bones Productions.
So once again we are pleased to present this December, Bare Bones Productions   a variety of scenes from the Broadway and Off-Broadway theater to delight and entertain our audience.

 Won't you join us!

Anthony Ingoglia, a NAC member, thought you might be interested in a website called
www.newyorkminutefilmfestival.com   It is the first year of the film festival in which participants submit a one minute video.  His son AJ, a graduate of
Northport High School, now attending college submitted a film, and his video was used on cable TV.      When you log on, click Movies, then, Drama, then the yellow arrow, and then look for Reminiscences and select it.  The music was written by a recent Northport grad named Matt Pastor.   An amazing story in just one minute!
