College Night for Long Island Music Students
The
annual College Night for Long Island Music
Students will take place this year on Wednesday, October 20th 2004 from
7:30pm
to 9:30pm at Kings Park High School, 200 Route 25A, Kings Park.
Music Students grades 9-12 (and transfer students) who wish to continue
music
study as an undergraduate are invited to attend. Parents are also
welcome or to
attend in their place if students have a conflict. Students
interested in classical, jazz or contemporary music, opera, musical
theater,
conducting, composition, music business, music technology, music and
communications, etc., will find this event helpful.
Representatives from local, statewide and national conservatories,
colleges and
universities will be available to answer questions on
applications, auditions,
requirements, courses, and college life. Summer program representatives
will

Grillo will be offering ROOTS & WINGS: A
dramatic Arts Experience for students 12 to 16 years
of age 8 Thursdays, 5 to 6:30 pm. Posey School, 57 Main St. Northport. Charlotte
will 'root' the students in basic theater exercises, games, improv,
monologues, scripted scenes and Ghislaine will give them their 'wings'
of improvisational
