Last Month's Nac Wednesday:
Doris Rowe reports that the art-in-the-dark program was a great success! All presenters enjoyed seeing their work in a larger format than the usual studio size! Examples of their REAL work were exhibited. Kate Kelly projected on the large screen a stunning collection of her newest digital work. Doris Rowe presented her new digital work, "I Saw the Figure Four in Gold", a social protest statement. Celeste Mauro delighted the audience with a slide show collection of masterful watercolors with an architectural thrust. Janet Simpson projected her encaustic paintings, including "Fish for Dinner" a 4 x 5 ft canvas that can be viewed, with work from each of these artists, at the Do-Art Exhibit.
